DJ, producer, songwriter and journalist - Arian Amedie also known as Averro, is one of the most versatile artists in the german DJ-scene. The newcomer from Paderborn started out as a radio host at HouseTime.FM before reaching his first greater success. In March 2013, Averro won the Electric Mountain Festival DJ Contest in Sölden on 2.300 m after competing with more than 400 contestants at once and was therefore able to share the stage with big names such as Hardwell, Nicky Romero or Afrojack. Two years later he also won another DJ-competition at one of the biggest festivals in Europe: The Electric Love Festival in Salzburg. Ever since he performs as one of their artists on the mainstage year after year to this day. „Make the world a better place with music.“ - this statement and attitude motivates Averro since he started out as a DJ. His sets are combining various music genres such as Jazz, Reggae, Classic, Rock or HipHop with electronic beats, as you can hear in his productions. His single „Heartache“ is a high-energy dance song with a symbiosis of sweet orchestral elements and hard synthesizer sounds. No wonder that Ummet Ozcan recognized the tune and played it out on his Radio Show as „Demo of the Week“. Besides writing songs for himself, Averro also writes for other artists of the scene. With his upcoming single „Cadillac“, the german-dutch artist is pushing boundaries and making his first steps into the pop scene as well. When he isn’t playing on the stage, he’s probably working first row as a journalist. In 2018 he became editor in chief of „DJ MAG Germany“, getting in charge of one of the most famous brands in the whole industry. Before this step, he founded the german leading EDM - news platform „Its all about the music“!
